Smoking is prohibited in any building on campus. In addition, state law [Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 296-62-12005 (2)], requires the College to "minimize the infiltration of environmental tobacco smoke from sources outside the building." To meet this requirement, smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of the entrances to campus buildings and No Smoking signs are posted in these areas. Smoking shelters are available in several locations on campus to accommodate smokers during inclement weather.

If you smoke, please refrain from doing so in areas where signs prohibiting smoking are posted. Also, please fully extinguish your cigarettes and deposit them in an astray before entering designated no smoking zones.
